The program commenced on July 1, 1994 and is renewed on an annual basis. Overall feedback from plan participants has been consistently favorable. Participating colleges and universities meet periodically to discuss various risk management and underwriting issues that are of a unique and common nature to colleges and universities.

Leveraging our members combined purchasing power to establish the agreement, the CCIC Adobe VIP enables participating institutions to “link” VIPs in order to achieve deeper discounts for Adobe’s Creative Cloud software, while still purchasing and managing licenses separately under their own/existing VIP Agreement. Delivering industry-leading applications and services, Adobe Creative Cloud helps students learn, create, collaborate, and communicate more effectively — and develop the critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills that employers value.
This program leverages the Value Incentive Plan (VIP) option which allows schools to license only exactly what is needed. This differs from the Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) option, which acts as a site license for Adobe products by licensing your FTE.

The Coalition for College Cost Savings (The Coalition) was conceived as a catalyst for the first comprehensive and collaborative purchasing effort focused exclusively on independent, private higher education. The Coalition’s goals are to leverage the collective buying power of private colleges to reduce operating costs, improve the efficiency of internal procedures and ultimately lower the cost of delivering education. CCIC Member Institutions may access the programs and savings available to Coalition Members.
